The purpose :
Global environmental studies require multi- and interdisciplinary approaches at the international scale of research and education between countries in Asia and beyond. The symposium provides an opportunity to discuss various measures and perspectives of human resource development, in particular with regards to the international cooperation between Kyoto University and its partner universities.

All students and researchers are welcome to participate in online poster presentations. Please find the details on this website.

Registration for poster presenters (Title and abstract): October 31 24:00 (JST)
Poster Submission deadline: November 10 24:00 (JST)

Best poster presentation will be selected by the selection committee, and awarded in the Closing Session.
※The award is open to students and young researchers who are under the age of 40 as of December 3, 2024.

Note:

1. Submitted posters will be shared from November 29.
2. Posters will be published on Kyoto University Research Information Repository, KURENAI with the permission of the presenters.
3. The committee may check all posters for consistency with the purpose of this symposium.

Panelist from universities with close ties to the Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies (Kyoto University) will participate in a discussion on human resource development through international collaboration.
This session aims to promote personnel exchange and collaborative research across the region. Presenters have the opportunity to introduce programs from their universities, departments, and laboratories, including their own research labs, to recruit master and doctoral students, as well as postdoctoral fellow. Additionally, all participants are welcome to seek collaborators for joint research project in the future. Following flash talks, participants will join individual Zoom breakout rooms for Q&A sessions.
