Mahidol University and Kyoto University are jointly sponsoring the “International Symposium on Global Environmental Studies Education and Research in Asia” on November 13-15, 2016 at the Salaya campus of Mahidol University, Thailand. The symposium will share the most recent information on educational collaboration with our partner universities in Asian and Western countries, focusing on the international master’s course for double degree programs. It will also present international research by young scholars from many Asian countries, and practical experience of environmental-related industries and industry-university cooperation. A pre-workshop will offer several sessions on international collaborative educational and research projects in the field of Global Environmental Studies. A study tour will be conducted on the day after the symposium to visit various environmental sites of interest around Bangkok, and a Study-in-Kyoto seminar will be held for Thai students.
